Books by Roger Mear

Roger Mear (who wrote this book) was born in 1950 and gained a degree in Fine Art at Norwich. He has accomplished a winter ascent of the notorious Eiger North Face and, with two Americans, made the first winter ascent of Mt McKinley's Cassin Ridge in temperatures that fell to 60degreeC below zero. He has also worked with the British Antarctic Survey in Grahamland. His articles and photographs have appeared in mountaineering journals in Britain and America.
