Stephen Timblin is a journalist, travel writer, and former Rough Guides editor. An avid hiker, angler, and snowboarder, he still can't figure out which Yellowstone season is his favorite, though he hopes to continue searching for the answer by living closer to the parks one day. In addition to writing numerous newspaper and magazine articles, he is the coauthor of The Rough Guide to Skiing and Snowboarding in North America and is a contributor to The Rough Guide to USA.
