Susie Stubbs is a freelance writer and communications consultant. She has written for The Guardian and The Independent, has published several books with Tate Publishing and Time Out, and runs an award-winning online art magazine. She lives in Manchester and often visits nearby Dunham Massey with her children; clambering over the fallen trees in the deer park is one of her son's favourite activities. Writing this guidebook was, in Susie's words, 'a dream job'.
