Suzanne Degges-White, PhD, LMHC, LCAC, LPC, NCC, is Associate Professor, Department of Leadership and Counsellor Education, University of Mississippi, Oxford, MI, USA. She is also a licensed counsellor in private practice serving children, adolescents, adults, and couples. Dr. Degges-White's research interests include development over the lifespan, gender issues in counselling, and the use of creative and innovative techniques in counselling. She has been the recipient of multiple grants and research awards for her work. Dr. Degges-White has published numerous journal articles and book chapters as well as having co-edited the books Integrating the Expressive Arts into Counseling Practice (Springer Publishing, 2010), Counseling Boys and Young Men (Springer Publishing, 2012), and College Student Mental Health Counseling (Springer Publishing, 2013). She co-authored Friends Forever: How Girls and Women Forge Lasting Relationships (2010). She is on the editorial boards for the Journal of Counseling and Development and AdultSpan. Dr. Degges-White is the President-Elect (for 2013-1024) of the Association of Adult Development and Aging division of the American Counselling Association.

Bonnie R. Colon, MS, LMHC, NCC, NCSC, is Clinical Associate Professor of Counselling and Development, Department of Graduate Studies in Education, Purdue University Calumet, Hammond, IN, USA. She is also a licensed mental health counsellor and holds licensure/certification as a school counsellor in Indiana and Illinois, USA. Ms. Colon has over 15 years of experience as school counsellor, working primarily with students at the high school level. She is currently the Government Relations Legislative Chair-Subcommittee Public Relations Chair, Indiana School Counsellor Association and has presented at both local and national conferences on school counselling. She is the co-editor of Counseling Boys and Young Men (Springer Publishing, 2012).
