"Blue Peter" is one of the best-known and loved programmes on British children's television: it is a magazine programme featuring reports from around the world, celebrity guests, music, sport, pets, food and a whole lot more. Since broadcast started in 1958 there have been more than 3500 programmes, and the programme is still going strong on both terrestrial and digital channels. In this annual, there is an eclectic mix of foreign adventure, extreme sports, a recipe for Halloween green pea soup, and an East End market stall to make, children dancing in the studio with Gareth Gates and a tribute to James Bond, to name but a few of the activities that have occupied the Blue Peter team during the year.
