Following the author's previous walking guides - On High Lakeland Fells and On Lower Lakeland Fells - this title concentrates on short walks, of four-and-a-half miles on average. Many of these are on the periphery of the Lake District National Park, and though short, they are designed to take in some of the most attractive small fells, and each is complemented by the author's photographs.
