Summary

Imagine if the first alien kid to land on Earth was sent to your school - not in secret, but with the kind of open fanfare of Chelsea Clinton going to Stanford or Prince Harry attending Eton. That's what happened at Tim Tompkins' school...

The Alien Who Came To Dinner Summary

The Alien Who Came To Dinner by Bruce Coville

Pleskit's new in school. He's also purple, bald and has a single stalk growing out of the top of his head. It's going to be an interesting first term...

Pleskit is the first official alien kid on Earth. But there are others living here secretly. Beebo is a tiny renegade alien who needs Pleskit's help. Pleskit wants to help the little alien, but he could be putting himself - and his Fatherly One's mission - in real danger... Can he risk another Interplanetary Incident?

About Bruce Coville

Bruce Coville was born in Syracuse in 1950, he started writing seriously in 1967, married in 1969 and had his first book published in 1977. He and his wife, an artist with whom he has collaborated on several books, have three children. Bruce has published over sixty books since then and now has more than 12 million copies in print. Bruce has a lifelong interest in aliens and certainly believes in their existence. He says: Absolutely there's life out there. I think it's less likely we'll find something than something else will find us. The question is whether they'll want to talk to us or not!
