About Caroline Holmes

Caroline Holmes is a garden historian and a consultant, designer, lecturer and broadcaster worldwide. She is also a tutor on the panel of Cambridge and Essex Universities, and at the English Gardening School. Her books include New Shoots, Old Tips, Monet at Giverny, Icons of Garden Design and Victorian Gardens and she writes for BBC Gardener's World, The Garden, Gardens Monthly and BBC Good Food Magazine. She lives in Suffolk
