Insects or "bugs" as we like to call them are the most sucessful animals on Earth. They've been scuttling around since before the first dinosaurs and can now be found everywhere from scorching-hot deserts to icy-cold lakes. But insects are very different from us- as different as any alien you've seen in films or on television.
