His first book was 'Mr Tom' - a biography of his uncle, Tom Simpson, the talented Englishracer who died in the 1967 Tour de France; he also wrote DK's Complete Bike Book. Chris writes regularly for 'Cycle Sport', 'Cycling Plus' and 'Cycling Weekly' magazines. Chris resides in Launceston, Cornwall.
