Chardonnay Summary

Chardonnay: A Complete Guide to Buying, Storing and Serving Wine by Dave Broom

Chardonnay is the world's most recognized white grape variety, but it is perhaps less widely known as a major component of champagne, and the single variety that makes Chablis and the great white wines of Burgundy. From the top of the range to the cheaper alternatives, Chardonnay can be found in every wine shop, supermarket and wine merchant around the world. The wide varieties of styles are the result of where the grape is grown and the winemaking methods used to produce the wine. The author recommends how to find the right style for you, and which foods match which Chardonnay best.
