Amended legislation obliges all firms involved in the transportation, loading and unloading of dangerous goods to appoint a Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser by 31 December 1999. Dangerous Goods Safety Manual outlines the legislation under which these advisers will be examined and certified and subsequently appointed.

Freelance writer from 1972, contributing to most UK transport journals and many other publications including the Financial Times, Management Today, Logistics Focus and The Director.
