This book includes an overview of how OpenSPARC can be put to academic or commerical use, setting up development environment, reconfiguring the deisgns to differing numbers of threads or cores, synthesizing OpenSPARC T1 into FPGA solutions, configuring/using OpenSPARC simulation software, compiling software for an OpenSPARC target processor, and some dives into the OpenSPARC source code itself.
