This teaching resource contains twelve units introducing major Christian festivals (Harvest, Christmas, Easter, New Year, Pentecost and Mothering Sunday). Each is explored through PHSE/Citizenship and RE stimuli, with stories, activities, extension work and differentiated worksheets. The material covers many QCA Re requirements, but also introduces other common themes for both RE and PSHE/Citizenship at Key Stage One.

Diane Walker has taught in Secondary and Primary schools. She has written thirty books on a variety of subjects, including assembly, RE and literacy and conducted courses on assemblies and the use of the Bible in literacy. She is a regular contributor to the magazine, Cracking RE and author of A Good Start and Who cares?, both published by BRF.
