Girl from a Train

We stopped by a cornfield

Near Shrewsbury

A girl in a sun hat

Smiled at me

Then I was seven

Now sixty-two

Wherever you are

I remember you

'Gareth Owen's poetry is original, beautiful, serious, funny, real and imaginative... I cant tell you how good it is!' Patrick Dickinson
