Geoffrey Sadler was born in Mansfield. He studied at Manchester College of Commerce, to obtain his A.L.A. Now Geoffrey is an Assistant Librarian, in the local studies department, at Chesterfield Library. Aspects of Chesterfield, is not the first publication by Geoffrey, he has many other publications including; Around Shirebrook; Old Photographs series, Chesterfield: History Guide and many more.
