This book is full of source photographs and well-explained processes for producing lively, strong drawings. The end product here is the drawing. It is not aimed at drawing for painting, although of course it will help you to improve that part of your work. Civardi discusses tone, line, shape and form and demonstrates these with practical, well-explained examples. With just a few pencils and other materials you will be able to achieve excellent drawings. This book is full of illustrations and is well written and researched.
