In this unabridged classic, the time-traveling protagonist is propelled by his machine to the distant year of 802,701 AD. About H.G. Wells

Herbert George "H.G." Wells (1866-1946) was a prolific English writer best known for his science-fiction novels. His most notable works of science fiction include The Time Machine, The Island of Doctor Moreau, and The War of the Worlds. While he was nominated for the Nobel Prize in Literature four times, his novels were never selected for that top literary honor. Regardless, they remain timeless pieces of science fiction.
