About Henri J. M. Nouwen


Henri J. M. Nouwen was born in the Netherlands where he was ordained to the priesthood. After two decades as an academic he spent the latter part of his life with people with mental handicaps at the L'Arche community of Daybreak in Toronto, Canada.
