Designers of food shops are not just charged with the responsibility of creating a good-looking space, they also most aptly and discreetly push shoppers' mental buttons, triggering their needs, desires and aspirations, by a marriage of design and psychology. About J. Peyton

Jane Peyton is a London-based writer and photographer. Fabulous Food Shops is her third book for Wiley Academy after Looking up in London (2003) and Looking up in Edinburgh (2004). She is currently working on Wonderful Watering Holes a book of photographs of the world's most appealing pubs.
