About Jessica Souhami

Jessica Souhami studied textile design at the Central School of Art and Design. In 1980 she formed Mme Souhami and Co, a travelling puppet company using colourful shadow puppets with a musical accompaniment and a storyteller. Her work has been featured on children's television, on programmes including Watch (BBC Schools), Seeing and Doing (Thames TV), Storytime (BBC), Playschool (BBC) Everybody Here (Channel 4) and Rat a Tat Tat (Channel 4) who devoted a whole programme to her book No Dinner!
