About Jessica Spanyol

Jessica Spanyol achieved a distinction for her MA in Illustration at the Royal College of Art. Since then she has worked with various artists, staging exhibitions and designing installations and set designs, and has won several awards and prizes for her work. She has created three other picture books about Carlo, Carlo Loves Reading, Carlo Loves Counting and Carlo Loves Colours. She lives with her partner and small son Milo in east London.
