This work features Llandudno's history from as far back as prehistoric times right up to the present day. For centuries the village at the foot of the Orme led a quiet existence - a far cry from the hustle and bustle of the busy tourist resort we see today. This work chronicles the history and development of the town in over 250 photographs and other illustrations, combined with informative captions. Many of the photographs are from the wealth of picture postcards taken over the years by photographers working for local and national companies, other sources being private collections and the author's own pictures.
