What makes us human and unique among all creatures is our brain. Conciousness, perception, emotion, memory, learning, language and intelligence all originate in, and depend on, the brain. The first half of Creating Mind provides the reader with a basic understanding of the brain. The remainder of the book examines aspects of brain function that are directly relevant to how it creates mind.
