About Jonathan Maitland
In his early thirties, Jonathan Maitland is a journalist who has written for the Guardian, Daily Telegraph and Evening Standard. He reported for Radio 4's Today programme for six years, before moving on to BBC 1's Watchdog. He has presented his own TV series on cooking and the food industry, 'The Big Dinner', and presented a TV show on cowboy builders, 'House of Horrors', which was watched by 10 million viewers. He currently works for Granada TV as a reporter on the 'Tonight' programme with Trevor Macdonald.
