A tongue-in-cheek thriller involving the abduction of a woman, an insidious threat of sexual violation and an impending murder. It portrays a failed sculptor and a successful critic tormented, respectively, by sexual fantasies and guilt which surfaces in repeated sexual failure. The author has also written "Pubis Angelical", "Kiss of the Spider Woman" and "Blood of Requited Love".
