About Martin Jenkins

Martin Jenkins is a conservation biologist by trade and an expert at presenting complicated subjects in entertaining and accessible ways to children. He has won several awards for his work including the 1998 Times Educational Supplement Information Book of the Year Junior Award for The Emperor's Egg (9780744582215). He lives in Cambridge. Brian Sanders is an acclaimed artist and paper engineer whose work includes images for postage stamps, landscape painting and the carousel pop-up book, An Edwardian Doll's House. It was his impressive paintings of military scenes that attracted Walker Books to use him for the Titanic project. Brian lives in Cambridge with his illustrator wife, Lizzie.
