It features a unique and collectable design from David Eldridge (River Cafe cookbook). From its inception in 1951, "The Bedside Guardian" was every "Guardian" reader's must-have Christmas purchase. It was relaunched in paperback as the "Guardian Year" in 1994. Now the 'Guardian' has brought back the old, and much missed, hardback format and title.
