The Doctor's Guide to Critical Appraisal Reviews

One of my favourite aspects of this book is that it makes no assumptions of prior knowledge; therefore the resulting text is a holistic guide to interpreting journal articles. I found everything in this book to be logical, relevant and convincing, to the extent that this doctor will be following its guidance in the future. Stephanie Coughlin, Foundation Year Doctor, BedfordIn the era of evidence-based medicine (EBM) and increasing patient access to medical literature it is essential that the clinician of the twenty-first century can weigh up the evidence supporting their own practice and justify their clinical decisions. A book of this kind is long overdue and very welcome.Adam Feather, Senior Medical Lecturer, London
