Doodle is feeling bitey. And what better to bite than a big BOTTOM - Tumpty s! But poor sore Tumpty is so upset he stamps on Doodle s tail - and now both of them are upset - and before long everyone is upset! When Doodle and Tumpty apologize, everyone can be happy again. But Doodle is still feeling just a little bit bitey!

Doodle Bites Reviews

Nobody can draw anything more instantly loveable than one of Dunbar's characters. Independent on Sunday Pre-school life - albeit an imaginary one with animals rather than humans - is brilliantly observed and captured in this Tilly and friends story. Observer

About Polly Dunbar

Polly Dunbar is a major new picture book talent. She is the author-illustrator of Penguin (9781844280650), Dog Blue (9781844285143) and Flyaway Katie (9781844285174), and the illustrator of Shoe Baby (9781406301618), written by her mother, Joyce Dunbar. Polly thinks that colour is a brilliant way to cheer yourself up and whenever she's feeling grey, she puts on her best pink frock and paints. Besides drawing, her favourite things are eating chocolate with coffee, blue shoes, singing along to The Beatles and stroking cats. Polly lives and works in Brighton.
