The Secret Garden Reviews

"more than 70 wonderful illustrations and botanical studies enrich this classic story" * Bookseller *
"... from Templar comes another of Robert Ingpen's superby illustrated classic books in celebration (of centenary). This is a hardback beauty: delicate botanical species paintings head each chapter and there is great variety in size and spacing of the rest of the intricate paintings. The picturing of Mary's first entry into the garden is perfect" * School Library Journal *
"beautifully illustrated" * Hatchards Autumn and Winter Catalogue *
