About Robert Swindells

Robert Swindells was born in Bradford. He worked for a newspaper, served in the RAF, and was a primary school teacher before becoming a full-time author. He has won the Children's Book Award twice and the Carnegie Medal for Stone Cold. A popular Barrington Stoke author, he's written the titles Snapshot, Snakebite, Burnout, The First Hunter, Just a Bit of Fun and Knife- edge. He lives in Haworth, Yorkshire
