After leaving Hungary and arriving in London in 1957 with his mother, Lazlo Gabor, troubled by the question of his father's identity, embarks upon a journey of self-discovery, via dubious jobs in the City and St Tropez. The author also wrote "Evenings at Mongini's", a collection of short stories.
