Methods (AS) matches the Methods module in the AQA Advanced Subsidiary and Advanced GCE Mathematics specification A. It is part of an eight-book series designed to meet the requirements of the new AS and A2 level syllabuses, using a simple one book per module structure. Adapted from SMP's successful 16-19 Mathematics course, it uses a highly motivating approach which develops ability and confidence in mathematics and its applications. The presentation is accessible and attractive, and incorporates many activities in order to involve students in learning. Methods (AS) introduces students to the foundations of pure mathematics, statistics and probability.
