Once there was a soft brown dog called Dogger. One of his ears pointed upwards and the other flopped over. He belonged to Dave who was very fond of him and took him everywhere. This endearing tale of how Dogger was lost and found was the winner of the British Library Association's Kate Greenaway Medal for 1977.
