About Stefan Buczacki

Stefan Buczacki has been a writer and broadcaster for more than forty years and is the author of over sixty best-selling works of non-fiction and biography as well as many thousands of newspaper and magazine features. He has received awards and honorary degrees for his writing and is a committee member of the Society of Authors. He has also written, presented or contributed to over two thousand radio and television programmes. Stefan was born in Derbyshire, educated at the universities of Southampton and Oxford, lives near Stratford-upon-Avon and has travelled widely throughout the world, but many years ago fell in love with the county of Norfolk where this debut novel is set.
