I've always been fascinated by the intersection of history and human emotion. This story came to me during a quiet afternoon, and I knew I had to share it with readers.

From the first draft to the final edit, it took about two years. The research alone consumed six months, but it was essential to get the details right.

The protagonist was surprisingly difficult. I wanted to create someone flawed yet relatable, someone readers could root for despite their mistakes.

I hope they find a sense of connection and understanding. Books have the power to bridge gaps between people, and that's what I aimed for with this story.

Yes! I'm currently drafting a new novel that explores themes of identity and belonging. It's still in the early stages, but I'm excited about where it's heading.
