Agua Caliente Canyon by Patrick Lindsay

The Way To Begin is a concise, revealing guide to getting that story idea out of your head and onto paper or screen. Ideas are easy, words are hard, especially for beginning and new writers, But The Way to Begin's method takes you from story idea to words on paper or screen.

The approach begins with an overview of why 'beginning' can be difficult for writers of any level, the difference between a story idea and a story, explains the key factors in story and character development, explains the formula writers can follow to understand the story they're trying to create, and reveals how to elevate creative writing to author-worthy prose.

Patrick Lindsay is a well-known nonfiction author in Australia. He worked as a journalist and TV host for more than 25 years until starting to write full-time in 2001. He's written 20 best-selling books since then, including the inspirational series It's Never Too Late, Now Is The Time, Be Happy, Make the Most of You, High Hopes, and Discovering Beauty.
