Tanya Biank is a journalist and novelist. Army Wives is based on her novel, and she works as a consultant for Lifetime's blockbuster series of the same name. Tanya is the daughter, sister, and wife of army colonels, and she traveled the world with troops while working as a newspaper reporter. Her reporting on the 2002 murders of army wives at Fort Bragg prompted congressional hearings and reforms in US Army policy. Her writing has been published in a variety of outlets, including the New York Times.
