Oak Blackheart is a retired teacher who wrote stories for his fourth grade students. Blackheart has two books published Arson in the Colony Volume 1 Will and Stacie and Will and Stacie Volume 2 Bicycle Bandit. Oak Blackheart wrote Pedaling Through the Past, articles about bicyclists rediscovering ghost town in Pottawatomie County, OK for the Shawnee News Star. Oak is a mountain bike rider and lives in Oklahoma and New Mexico. Blackheart grew up in Southeastern Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. Coast Guard and retired from the U.S. Army. He continues to share stories with his granddaughter.
