Barons of the Sky by Wayne Biddle

For his reporting on the Star Wars antimissile project, Wayne Biddle was awarded the Pulitzer Prize. He is the author of six books, including A Field Guide to Germs, which won the Walter C. Johnson Award from the American Medical Writers Association. Dark Side of the Moon, which was chosen as a New York Times Book Review editor's choice, received the Alvarez Honor Award. He works as a professor at Johns Hopkins University.
