A Bear's Dream by Deborah King
The snowy fields become green meadows and twin bear cubs leave their cave for the first time. A year in their lives is evoked through the eyes of the little girl as, just like them, she goes paddling, fishing and berry picking. This magical journey into the secret world of brown bears was inspired by Deborah King's visit to Alaska to see the endangered animals in their wilderness habitat.
'The poetic text beautifully portrays the wild world of the brown bear and the illustrations are handsome' The Bookseller
