He is the author of Beaton: Portraits (2004), Angus McBean Portraits (2006) and co-author of Vanity Fair Portraits (2008). Jon Savage is the author of Teenage: The Creation of Youth 1875-1945 (2007), The Kinks: The Official Biography (1984), and the award winning England's Dreaming: The Sex Pistols and Punk Rock (1991). He is also the co-editor of the Faber Book of Pop (1995).
