Between Ourselves by Graeme Burton

This book is an ideal text for students taking courses in interpersonal communication. It draws together all the main strands in communication theory to illustrate communication processes in action. Supplemented by questions, case studies and examples, this edition shows students how they can apply coherent communication theory to their everyday lives.
Graeme Burton is a freelance lecturer and writer, and was until recently a visiting lecturer at the University of the West of England. He has written a number of books on communication and media, including Media and Society: Critical Perspectives (Open University Press, 2005). Richard Dimbleby is a former Principal of The Bournemouth and Poole College and now works as a writer and as a trainer and consultant for a variety of national organizations in the UK.
