Pierre, Yseult: - Born in Longueuil, Quebec, Yseult was a dreamer. After serious studies in Fine Arts, her experience as schoolbook illustrator, her dreams of a funny extra-terrestrial creature and her love of Nature resulted in the publication of the book Bilijou in 1982. After a long and fulfilling career as goldsmith and jewelry designer, Yseult received a second visit of the Bilijous who insisted to come back on our planet. Yseult now lives near a blue river close to Ottawa, Ontario. She enjoys painting and gardening with her dog Rumi... when the Bilijous are not around.
