Robert J. Crane grew up on Florida's Space Coast before relocating to the upper Midwest in pursuit of cooler weather and better beer. He earned a bachelor's degree in English Creative Writing from the University of Central Florida. He worked as a substitute teacher for a year and then spent seven years in the financial services industry while writing in his spare time.
