For more than 40 years, David J. Eveleigh has worked in heritage conservation and museums, holding leadership posts at the Black Country Living Museum and the Ironbridge Gorge Museums Trust. He's written seven books for Shire, including the critically praised Bogs, Baths, and Basins - the Story of Household Sanitation. He is a member of the Museums Association, the Society of Antiquaries, and the Association of European Open Air Museums, among others.
