Mary Kate McDevitt graduated from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, PA with a degree in Graphic Design and Illustration. Shortly after graduating, Mary Kate worked as a designer at a studio in Lancaster, PA for 2 years. In 2010, Mary Kate moved out to Portland, OR to pursue a career as a freelance illustrator and artist. Since then she has divided her time between working on her line of Mini Goals Chalkboards, illustration and hand lettering. Her work is recognized internationally and her work is for sale all over the country and Canada. When Mary Kate is not in the studio, she enjoys drinking coffee, thrifting, riding bikes, watching News Radio with her boyfriend Fred DiMeglio and redecorating her house.
