Duncan Crosbie has written a number of nonfiction books for children. For this book he did a considerable amount of research in Ireland, particularly at Limerick Castle, on whose story some of the detail is based. Kay Dixey has been illustrating children’s books for more than thirty years. She specializes in historical subjects. Keith Finch started out as an aeronautical engineer before becoming fascinated by the process of paper engineering and the manufacture of books. All three live in England.
