Leo Damore (1929-1995) was an Ontario native and graduate of Kent State University in Ohio. He was a journalist and the author of several nonfiction works, including The Cape Cod Years of John F. Kennedy and the 1988 bestseller, Senatorial Privilege, now retitled Chappaquiddick: Power, Privilege, and the Ted Kennedy Cover-up.
